Our leadership team brings together experienced and driven professionals all with the common desire to provide the best banking experience for our clients. 
Will has over 30 years in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Farm Bureau Bank as President & COO then becoming President & CEO of Farm Bureau Bank, Will began his career with SunTrust Bank where he held several positions from Finance to Product Management to Strategic Planning. As SVP of Retail Distribution and Delivery he was responsible for branch channel management, ATM and Branch automation, branch staffing, productivity, and analytics. His experience also includes an executive position with HEB Grocery Co.

Will earned his BS in Business Administration and Finance from Oklahoma State University. He currently sits on the Boards of the Good Samaritan Community Services, United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County, American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture, and Georgia Foundation for Agriculture.
Jeff has spent over 20 years in the financial services industry focusing on complex financial analysis, performance analysis, and strategy development. Prior to joining Farm Bureau Bank, he worked for United Service Automobile Association FSB [USAA] in a variety of roles, handling strategic planning, forecasting, performance analysis, product pricing, capital markets and capital, liquidity and interest rate risk management. Jeff joined Farm Bureau Bank in 2018 as VP of Finance and Product Management and currently leads the Finance, Accounting, Data Management, Product Management and Marketing teams as CFO.

Jeff graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas with a BA in Economics and earned an MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Jeff maintains multiple designations, including Certified Public Accountant [CPA] and Chartered Financial Analyst.
Janie has been with Farm Bureau Bank for over 20 years and has served in a multitude of roles throughout the Bank, ranging from Customer Care Representative to HR Coordinator. As our GVP Chief People Officer, Janie is responsible for strategic human resource planning and supervises the Talent Development Team, providing and cultivating the best talent available.

Janie earned her BBA in Human Resources from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. She serves her community as a board member of SAMMinistries in San Antonio, Texas.
A founding member of Farm Bureau Bank’s management team, Mark has nearly 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining the Bank, Mark was involved in the start-up and development of USAA Federal Savings Bank and AFBA Industrial Bank, as well as serving in various operational and consultative positions. As Farm Bureau Bank’s Chief Operations and Technology Officer, Mark is responsible for the oversight of IT and Change Management, with a focus on productivity and operational efficiency.

Mark is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, earning a BS in Management Science and Computer Systems. He is also a Certified Information Security Manager.
Kelly has worked for Farm Bureau Bank since 2006 and has nearly 20 years of experience in financial services. Prior to joining the Bank, she worked as the VP and Financial Center Manager for Washington Mutual Bank, and served as AVP and Branch Manager, Teller Operations Supervisor, and Financial Service Representative at Broadway National Bank. As our SVP Chief Consumer Lending and Services Officer, Kelly is responsible for the oversight of the Bank’s core lines of business.

Kelly earned her graduate Banking degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
Beth has spent over 30 years in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Farm Bureau Bank, Beth began her banking career at Third National Bank/SunTrust which is now part of the Truist organization. There she served in a variety of leadership roles focused on client service, consumer and commercial lending, operations and operational risk management. Beth officially joined Farm Bureau Bank in 2020 as Head of Consumer Banking after serving in a consultive position and currently leads the Agent Services Channel, Banking & Client Services, Branch Banking, Commercial Banking, and Specialty Banking teams as Chief Banking Officer.

Beth graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee with a BA in Business Administration. She also completed the Graduate School of Banking program at Louisiana State University and the Colgate Darden Commercial Lending Program at the University of Virginia. Her community service engagement has included Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement, and Ronald McDonald House.

Gary has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry and has spent much of that time successfully establishing and renovating Commercial Banking divisions for community banks. He holds vast experience in executive management, commercial banking management, credit administration, new business production, relationship management, and commercial deposit product development and management. A superior client experience along with exceptionally strong credit portfolio profiles have been hallmarks of his leadership.
 
Gary earned his BS in Finance and Economics from Virginia Tech. He currently sits on the Boards of the local Chamber RVA, Chesterfield Business Council, Virginia Rep (Barsdale Theatre), Family Lifeline, Risk Management Association, Midlothian YMCA, Cal Ripkin Sr. Foundation, and the Richmond Ballpark Initiative.

John has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. As a founding member of Farm Bureau Bank in 1999, John has had responsibility across various disciplines including enterprise risk, consumer compliance, BSA, CRA, internal controls, commercial credit, collections, audit, legal and regulatory management, and the credit card line of business. Prior to joining Farm Bureau Bank, John held several roles with two commercial banks, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation [FDIC], and held two certifications: Commissioned Bank Examiner, and Commissioned Compliance Examiner.

John earned his MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio, as well as a BBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of the Incarnate Word. An active member in his community, John serves on the Board of the Greater San Antonio YMCA.

Sophia joined Farm Bureau Bank in 2014 and has over 15 years of experience in marketing and communications. Since joining, she has developed an in-house marketing team to support multi-channel marketing efforts advancing the Bank’s brand, articulating its value proposition, and supporting business development. She oversees communications, public relations, and advertising strategies as well as product development and innovation.

Sophia earned her BA in Communications with a focus in Marketing and Advertising from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Supporting youth in agriculture, she currently sits on the Board of Directors for the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, an organization that emphasizes agriculture and education, impacting over 19,000 youth in Texas each year.

John has nearly 20 years of technical experience working in infrastructure and security for Farm Bureau Bank. Prior to working for the bank, John participated in his family's locally owned electrical firm where he was introduced to advanced electrical systems, managing teams, and providing his community with critical services. As Farm Bureau Bank’s GVP of Information Technology [IT], John is responsible for leading our IT and software development teams and spearheads various information security initiatives.

John has a number of technical certifications and maintains an aggressive training approach to keep pace with the ever-changing world of technology.  

Gesena has worked for Farm Bureau Bank since 2015 and has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Farm Bureau Bank, she worked as the Director of Accounting for Associa Hill Country and as the Chief Internal Auditor at Security State Bank & Trust. As our Internal Auditor, Gesena oversees the safety and security of procedures at Farm Bureau Bank.

Gesena is a Certified Community Bank Internal Auditor and she continuously trains in auditing, compliance, and operational and physical security.
Jason has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, getting his start at Ford Motor Credit working as a Collector and then as an Underwriter. Prior to joining Farm Bureau Bank, Jason worked with Arkansas Farm Bureau Insurance as Manager of Agent Training. Since joining Farm Bureau Bank in 2003, Jason has held several positions, including Senior Business Relations Director and VP of Business Development.
 
Jason earned a BS in Agricultural Economics from the University of Tennessee. He currently acts as the President of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Townsend, Tennessee, serving the poor and underprivileged in the Appalachian Region.
